Giroptic Introduces One-Shot 360-Degree Panoramic Camera

Giroptic One-Shot 360-Degree Panoramic Camera

Giroptic is introducing what it calls a one-shot 360-degree panoramic digital camera.

It uses a 360-degree lens; you place the camera on its special tripod, set the timer and that’s it. The picture is ready to use instantly, according to the company; it can be uploaded to the Giroptic servers to help create interactive virtual tours of the area that’s been photographed (in itself an operation requiring not more than a couple of clicks) or it can be e-mailed, used in Flash presentations and promotional material.

The Giroptic camera is targeted at real estate marketers, tourism presenters and those who regularly conduct virtual tours of their places.
