Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD Camera with 15X Zoom

Fujifilm USA today unveiled the new FinePix S2000HD, a long zoom digital camera with SLR styling and featuring a 10-megapixel CCD image sensor mounted on a movable platter to enable sensor-shift image stabilization.

The back of the camera features a 2.7-inch LCD monitor for image display and composing the shot; it has a 0.2-inch FLCD viewfinder. To go with its SLR styling, the S2000HD offers a suitable range of manual controls as well as Face Detection, Red-Eye Removal, thirteen scene modes, and a high-speed burst shooting mode that can do up to 13.5 fps depending on resolution.

The HD designation means it offers full High Definition compatibility; it can play HD videos and photos on your HDTV panel.

The FinePix S2000HD has ISO settings up to 1600 at full resolution (at reduced resolution, it can go ISO 3200, says the company). It takes in SD or SDHC memory cards for storage and gets its power from four AA batteries. Available in September at $300.
