Fujifilm, Nintendo Team Up for Wii Online Print Service

Fujifilm and Nintendo have teamed up to offer a new online photo printing service for the Nintendo Wii gaming console. The service is available now in Japan and it’s called the Wii Digicam Print Channel.

Users of the service can upload their images from SD cards by inserting them into the Wii game console and order a variety of customized photo products like photo prints, business cards and photo books.

A 3R print (5×3.5in) can cost about $0.25, a set of 30 business cards at $4.60 and a 6-page photo book, ring-bound at A4 size (11.7×8.3in) can cost about $23.

The Wii-Fujifilm service is not available for international orders. But you really don’t have to wait for it as there are many such services available throughout the world where you can order prints and other photo products online from your home or anyplace with an Internet connection.
