EXIF Pilot Software Lets You View and Change Metadata

EXIF Pilot is software from Two Pilots that lets you view and edit the metadata of your digital photos. For example, you can edit the date and time of your images, a necessary feature when crossing time zones during travel.

The new version allows reading and editing the following file formats: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, DNG, NEF, PEF, CRW, and JP2. Read-only support is provided for these formats: PSD, RAF, CR2, MRW, ARW, and many others.

There are 3 versions of the software: EXIF Pilot Lite is free and it lets the user view EXIF and IPTC data; EXIF Pilot ($30) allows you to view, edit, and create EXIF data and to export and import info to MS Excel, XML, Text files; and EXIF Pilot Pro ($40) lets you view, edit, and create EXIF and IPTC data and to export and import info to MS Excel, XML, Text files. It also allows batch editing.
