DxO Labs has posted the Raw capabilities for the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera, and how it ranks among the current crop of DSLRs.
The benchmarking includes detailed measurements of image quality delivered by its sensor, color depth, dynamic range and low-light ISO capability. The measurements indicate that the EOS 5D ranks among the current best cameras in the industry alongside the Nikon D3 and D700 and the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III.
At the same time, DxO also posted the numbers for the recently retired Pentax K200D, showing it a notch above entry-level offerings from Nikon, Canon and Sony.
