DIY: Repair Stuck Lens on Panasonic FZ5

A visit to the repair shops of most camera makers always proves to be quite costly. Even a look-see into the camera that you bought from them can cost you a bunch of precious dollars, especially when those warranties run out.

That’s why articles like this one from instructables.com is always welcome. It gives the user detailed instructions, with photos, about how to repair a stuck lens on Panasonic FZ5.

It’s not for the faint of heart, of course. But for the many do-it-yourselfers out there, this is a welcome thing.

And with proprietary camera repair costs shooting through the roof, we should have more of this.
