DIY: An Inexpensive Light Box

DIY Lighting

A light box to illuminate small objects for product photography is really not that difficult to make, as this guy Jeffrey Bail has shown. Instead of buying a $100 light tent, Jeff proceeded to make his own.

He used a thick cardboard box, the type used to carry cargo, some muslin fabric, a Bristol board, some lights and a few other everyday items and – voila! – a useful light box.

Thoughtfully, Jeff wrote down how he did it and posted it on the Internet. Follow the link if you wish to make your own, too.
