DivShare Again: Join Us for Free File Sharing

Diversion Web Publishing today formally announced DivShare, reiterating their invitation for the public to join their new file-hosting site that provides a free, unlimited place to store and share photos, documents, and almost every other type of file.

We cast a wary eye on DivShare last December when they first surfaced, noting that their business model was just too good to be true. They were offering to host your files for free forever, no spam, no pop-up ads, with unlimited uploads and unlimited downloads.

Which brings to mind the adage that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. My guess is that when they hit maybe a million subscribers, they’ll begin to charge for something somehow.

When I looked today at their site, there was this ad featuring a woman wearing a bra that looked ready to drop. Fine by me, boy, but that may not sit well with my grandmother.
