Six Malaysian and American photographers are mounting a photo exhibit, Digital Fine Art Photography of Malaysia, from August 29 to September 16, 2007 at the Hotel Equatorial in Kuala Lumpur.

This is to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Merdeka (Independence) and to underscore their support to efforts to protect the jungles in the heart of Borneo.

Inspired by the rich fabric of Malaysia – its people, its architecture, its mountains and seas – the photographers cross cultural boundaries in their artistic expression. Proceeds from sales of the photographs will go to the WWF-Malaysia Heart of Borneo Project.

The contributing American and Malaysian photographers are: US Ambassador Christopher LaFleur, Dr. Chen Wei Seng, Chan Kin Wah, Keith Ellenbogen, Hor Kwai Low and John Ishii.
