Corsair has introduced a new USB flash drive, the Flash Padlock, which features an auto-lock hardware security. You don’t have to remember to enable the protective feature – it’s automatic; it locks itself instantly after you remove it from a computer.
But you have to remember your PIN though. It has a touchpad security PIN entry system that can be quickly and confidentially activated to use the device as a standard USB flash data drive.
Corsair says the Flash Padlock is impervious to brute force, hacks or keystroke loggers that would defeat a software secured USB flash drive.
It’s currently available in two capacities, 1GB for $30 and 2GB for $40.
