Casio Unveils FH100 High Speed Camera

Casio FH100 High Speed Camera

The new Casio EX-FH100 can shoot 30 frames per second of 9-megapixel high-res images; at a high-speed burst, it can do 40 fps. Set it at Prerecord Continuous Shutter, and you will not miss a critical moment even if you press the shutter a bit late, since the camera starts shooting when the shutter button is pressed only halfway.

With reduced resolution, users can also select a recording speed of 1,000 fps, 420 fps, 240 fps, or 120 fps. The Casio EX-FH100 also has a mode that lets users to switch to high-speed recording at 240 fps or 120 fps by pressing a single button during normal movie recording (30 fps). High-speed recording allows users to enjoy dramatic, ultra slow-motion playback.

High speed photography is looking in the eye of the masses. Let’s see if its price would also be friendly to the masses, when Casio finally brings the FH100 to market. No price and date has been set as of yet for this model.
