Casio Announces EX-H20G Hybrid-GPS Digital Camera

Casio EX-H20G Hybrid-GPS Digital Camera

The Casio EX-H20G is the latest addition to the EXILIM Hi-Zoom line-up of compact digital cameras with a high-power optical zoom lens. Designed for people who frequently travel, the EX-H20G employs Casio’s Hybrid GPS system to track a user’s position against map data stored in the camera’s internal memory.

Even indoors, Casio says the camera’s Hybrid GPS system is able to track its position. Even if no signals are received from GPS satellites when indoors, the system consecutively tracks the user’s location by employing an original algorithm using a three-way accelerometer and a three-way direction sensor.

The H20G features a 14-1-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD with 460 dots and 10x zoom that offers the equivalent of 24-240mm focal length.
