Casio today introduced two compact cameras that can also shoot video that’s good and ready for uploading to YouTube.

The Casio Exilim EX-S880 and EX-Z77 digital cameras both feature a YouTube Capture mode which records videos in the MPEG-4 H.264 video. The company says this provides an ideal compression ratio that allows users to record longer without having to sacrifice the quality of their movies.

This mode provides a resolution of 640 x 480 and a frame rate of up to 30 frames per second.

“We recognized that there was a demand for an easier way to upload high-quality video and are thrilled to be the first digital camera company to be able to offer a solution for consumers,” said John Homlish, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Casio, Inc.

The 8.1-megapixel EX-S880 is available at $300, while the 7.2-megapixel EX-Z77 retails for $230.
