Carl Zeiss Launches Photo Contest

Lens maker Carl Zeiss AG has kicked off a photo contest under the motto “Your most impressive creations in 2007.” The contest is looking for photos that are creative and refreshingly different with that distinctively personal touch. The photos should be taken with a Carl Zeiss lens.

There’s a category for photos taken with a Sony digital camera, Nokia cell phone or a Logitech webcam – all these cameras use Carl Zeiss lenses – and another category for photos taken with an SLR, rangefinder camera or medium format camera.

Prizes at stake in the first category include a Nokia N95 8GB smartphone, Carl Zeiss Conquest 8×20 binoculars and Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP webcam.

Prizes in the SLR category are: a Carl Zeiss lens of the winner’s choice, Carl Zeiss Conquest 8×20 binoculars and Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP webcam.

The contest runs until January 7, 2008. Details of the photo contest are posted on the Carl Zeiss website.
