Canon has a new slogan, â€œWe Speak Image,â€ in Europe at least, or in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in a broader sense, replacing the â€œCanon Canâ€ mantra.
To drum this up, Canon Europe has embarked on a major new pan-European corporate advertising campaign. It is also part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The ad campaign covers five areas where Canon touches peopleâ€™s lives: the home (HD video), work (security and productivity), professional (remote working / medical), and the environment (efficiency). The format of the ad uses a frame device to create a visual theme of â€˜pictures within a pictureâ€™ to bring Canonâ€™s brand proposition to life.
Canon says they have two clearly defined markets in Europe, business solutions where they are developing IT products, solutions and services for the office and professional print environments, and consumer imaging which includes photo, video, Bubble Jet printers, scanners, fax machines and multifunction devices.
