Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D for Dummies by Julie Adair King

Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D for Dummies by Julie Adair King

You know something has become popular when somebody writes a Dummy book about it (even if the books themselves are not that popular anymore these days).

Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D for Dummies by Julie Adair King is now off the press, ahead of the actual popularity of the camera; no doubt the camera will also be popular coming in the heels of its very popular sibling, the Rebel XTi/400D. This book just might help it some more.

This For Dummies book targets first-time and novice users who are interested in DSLR shooting with the new Rebel XSi announced by Canon last January and is now hitting store shelves worldwide.

And it’s not alone; it’s actually one of four Dummies books for DSLR novices. There are also full-color For Dummies books that cover the Nikon D40/D40x, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi/400D and the Nikon D60 by the same author.

The assumption is that the reader has little to no knowledge of general photography terms or techniques. The goal of each book is to familiarize the reader with the controls and features of their camera so they can apply them to any shooting situation.
