Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR

Early buyers of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR are expected to get their units before the end of the week, according to a report by photographer Rob Galbraith, citing Chuck Westfall, Technical Advisor at Canon USA.

The first shipments from Canon USA’s distribution centers are leaving today en route to their various dealers in the continent.

Westfall had indicated that accessory items such as extra Battery Pack LP-E6s, Battery Grip BG-E6, Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E4/E4A and EG-series focusing screens were expected to ship at about the same time as the camera body.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is the much-anticipated update to the 5D full-frame DSLR; the new model packs 21.3 megapixels and the capability to shoot high definition 1080p movies.
