Buffalo Offers NAS Technology in Palm-Sized Version

Buffalo LinkStation Mini

The latest addition to Buffalo Technology’s high performance line of storage devices is the dual drive LinkStation Mini (LS-WS1.0TGL/R1) coming in at a full terabyte capacity.

The company said the new storage device offers the same great features and protection that Buffalo’s award-winning NAS devices are known for. Buffalo will also soon offer a 500GB version of the LinkStation Mini.

With its 1.57×3.22×5.31in form at 1.1 lbs, the LinkStation Mini is an ideal space-saving solution for storing and sharing large amounts of digital content. Its dual drive configuration provides complete data redundancy through RAID 1. In addition, users with a large media library will appreciate the included DLNA server by TwonkyVision, so they can stream files through any DLNA compatible media player.

The 1TB LinkStation Mini will be available in May at an estimated street price of $699.
