BenQ X710 Compact Camera

BenQ has announced its X710 compact digital camera, featuring an ultra-slim (19.4mm) body with a large 3-inch LCD display. It’s a 7.2-megapixel shooter using an smc (super multi-coating) Pentax lens with 3x optical zoom. It brags about its ISO 4000 support in movie recording mode.

BenQ uses its own SSF (super shake-free) system as anti-blur to compensate for hand movement while clicking on the shutter. This is supported by the camera’s light sensitivity of up to ISO 1200 to capture photos in low light situations.

There are six different shooting modes for the X710, including manual mode, S.S.F. (Super Shake-Free) mode, portrait mode and night scene mode, allowing for quick setting adjustments with a variety of shooting options. The camera also includes the PictBridge function for direct photo printing via a compatible printer and supports SD memory card of up to 2GB.
