Apple’s New Video iPod Has 60% Brighter Screen, Lower Price

Apple has released the latest iteration of their popular video iPod for viewing photos, movies and playing music.

The new iPod offers a screen that’s 60% brighter than before, resulting in a more vibrant display on its 2.5-inch LCD screen.

Apple said the “new iPod features seamless integration with iTunes 7 and the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) which now includes over 75 Hollywood movies, 220 television shows and popular video games designed specifically for the fifth generation iPod.”

The 30GB iPod sells for a lower price of $249 while the 80GB model sells at $349.
