Apple Rolls Out Mac OS X 10.5.7 Update

Apple has released Mac OS X 10.5.7, updating the operating system with a system-level RAW image file support for a host of new camera models including the new Canon EOS 50D, 5D Mark II, Powershot G10, Nikon D3X, Nikon D90, Coolpix P6000, as well as the Sony DSLR-A900 – among others.

Mac OS X 10.5.7 also includes other enhancements in stability, compatibility and security of your Mac.

Among the fixes:

• Improves performance of video playback and cursor movements for recent Macs with NVIDIA graphics.
• Resolves an issue with Dvorak keyboard layout in Mac OS X 10.5.6.
• Improves the reliability and accuracy of Unit Converter, Stocks, Weather and Movies Dashboard widgets.
• Addresses a situation that may cause issues when logging into Gmail.
