AlienBees Introduces Wireless Cybersync Remote Control for Strobes

AlienBees 2.4GHz Wireless Cybersync Remote Control for Strobes

AlienBees has gone wireless with the new CyberSync 2.4GHz Radio Remote Control system. According to Paul C. Buff, AlienBees owner who designed it, the CyberSync system is an advanced binary encoded system with a high degree of error security to assure freedom from false tripping.

The system employs sixteen selectable operating frequencies within the 2.4GHz band to allow rejection of interference signals as well as interaction from other photographers who might be using radio controls in the area.

Among its features are:

• 2.4 GHz band, with a “high degree of error security” for more reliable tripping.
• One year battery life for the transmitter.
• Up to 400 feet of usable range, depending on terrain.
• Receiver operates on AA-sized batteries, with 200-hour battery (it even gets more than that when you use the “auto shutoff” function).
• Included cords for the receiver: 3.5mm-to-3.5mm, 3.5mm-to-1/4″ adapter and 3.5MM to PC.

The price for the transmitter is $60, receiver costs only $70. Paul C. Buff has built a decades-long reputation for turning out reliable lighting products made in the USA at significantly lower prices.
