Let’s get this straight: Adobe will “launch” CS3 on March 27 but will “release” it in May?

From Adobe itself we are hearing that CS3 will officially launch in New York City next week, on March 27, and there will be a live webcast to cover the event starting at 3:30 pm EDT. You can watch it in the comfort of your own home or wherever you are in the world at that time via an Internet connection.

For ambience, though, and all the goodness that it entails, you are also invited to watch the CS3 launching as it is broadcast live to select Apple stores in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Santa Monica and London.

From Forbes.com we hear word that Adobe CS3 will likely come out by the end of May. According to RBC Capital Markets, who has an “outperform” rating on the Adobe stock and a price target of $47, the company should be able to provide a definite date about the consumer release of CS3 when it reports Q1 earnings in the market later today.
