30 Iranian women artists are exhibiting “30 Years of Solitude,” a collection of photographs and films that express the feelings of anxiety, isolation and the sense of loss that the Iranian society at large and women artists, in particular have been experiencing in the last thirty years, living in Iran.

The exhibit features 60 photographs, some of which are by internationally famous Iranian women photographers, and seven short films and long features by Iranian women directors.

“30 Years of Solitude” runs from February 16 to March 11, 2007 at New Hall, a women’s college of the University of Cambridge. Admission is free.
