1-800-Flowers.com "Fields of the World" Photo Contest

Florist 1-800-Flowers.com is calling for entries for its “Fields of the World” photo contest that focuses on capturing the beauty of bouquet collections of different countries of the world.

Fields of the World is jointly organized by1-800-Flowers.com, a leading multi-channel retailer, and CBS RIOT (radio, internet, outdoor and television), a division of broadcaster CBS Corp.

This contest involves photography and writing; contestants can upload their favorite photos from their travels around the world to the contest’s website, and submit a short story explaining the inspiration behind it.

Photos of the top ten finalists will be featured on a CBS outdoor billboard in the finalist’s respective hometowns. Then, starting October 8th the 10 finalists will be posted on the 1-800-Flowers.com website so the public can vote on the grand prize winner whose photo will then be featured on a CBS Outdoor billboard in New York City’s Time Square.

The grand prize winner will be flown to New York City for the unveiling of his billboard, and attend a flower design class with world-renowned expert floral designer Jane Packer.
