Women in Photography Holds Launch Party on June 11

Women in Photography will hold a launch party on Wednesday, June 11 at Giano, 126 E. 7th St. New York City. The organization’s website formally launched last Tuesday, June 3, with featured photographer Elinor Carucci.

Women in Photography showcases works by female artists in the contemporary photo world. It is also a resource for photographers, editors, curators, gallery owners, and viewers alike to discover and enjoy the work of female artists.

Women in Photography is co-curated by Amy Elkins and Cara Phillips. It will present a solo exhibition of work from select photographers every other Tuesday of the month.
