Western Digital Rolls Out 1TB My Passport SE for Mac

Western Digital has released My Passport SE for Mac, featuring one terabyte (1TB) capacity. The new portable mobile drive is formatted for Mac and compatible with Apple Time Machine software.

WD said My Passport SE drives are USB-powered and do not need an external power adapter. They are also equipped with 256-bit hardware encryption with password protection for an extra level of security.

The 1TB version sells for $200, with a 750GB model retailing for $180. Both are available now.
