Want News with Your Photos? Pixxa Delivers Them Wirelessly

Ality Pixxa Wi-Fi Digital Photo Frame

The new wireless Pixxa digital photo frame from Ality is the latest addition to their Wi-Fi series of photo frames. It features an 8-inch LCD screen with an 800×600 resolution.

The Pixxa’s most notable feature though is its ability to send favorite photos directly to the digital display via an instant messenger application. With the peer-to-peer Photo Messenger feature, users can instantly send and receive photos to and from family and friends from anywhere in the world via the Internet – either direct from a computer or from Pixxa to Pixxa frame.

It also has a Live Calendar feature that enables users to synchronize their schedules with online calendar websites, such as Google Calendar, to view all appointments in the comfort of their living room without the need for a computer.

And if it can connect to the Internet by itself, it certainly can deliver you the news; the Pixxa has a Live News feature so you don’t miss the morning news; it’s delivered right to your bedside via wireless streaming from the Internet – news, sports, weather, traffic, showbiz news, horoscopes and stock quotes – you’ll have it on your Pixxa digital photo frame.

Ality will showcase the new Wireless Pixxa digital photo frame at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center (booth number 73851), January 7-10, 2008 and at Pepcom´s Digital Experience media showcase at Caesars Palace on Sunday, January 6, 2008.

The Pixxa is expected to ship in the first half of 2008 with a suggested retail price of $299.
