Updated VueScan 8.4.60 Software Straightens Skewed Scans

The latest version of VueScan, Version 8.4.60, automatically straightens any document or photo that has been placed in the scanner slightly askew. This makes for faster scanning because you don’t have to eyeball each photo or document to see if it is straight.

Aside from skew correction, the latest VueScan also a full range of advanced features including options for scanning faded slides and prints and automatically adjusting images to optimum color balance that reduces the need to manually do it in Photoshop. It includes built-in IT8 color calibration of scanners, producing colors that look true to life, batch scanning and other advanced and powerful scanning and productivity features, including PDF output.

VueScan supports over 750 scanner models from various manufacturers. It is available in Standard Edition ($40) or Professional Edition ($80). The Professional Edition adds unlimited free upgrades, advanced IT8 color calibration and support for raw scan files.
