Transcend has a brand-new USB flash drive in a very tiny form (30.2 x 12.3 x 2.4mm, 2 grams). It used to be that USB flash drives this small were easy to bend and break, but not this one, according to the company.
The JetFlash T3 is designed to be extra-rugged, says Transcend. It uses a special chip-on-board manufacturing technique that molds the memory chip and circuit board into the drive’s unbreakable Polycarbonate casing, making the T3 more solid and robust than even full-sized flash drives.
It can be used as a keychain accessory or a mobile phone dongle and can even be stores safely in a wallet without fear of breaking or bending. Transcend backs it up with a lifetime warranty.
The Transcend JetFlash T3 comes in 1GB and 2GB versions.
