TiltShift for the iPhone? Looks More Like Selective Focus, Really

TiltShift for the iPhone

The TiltShift app for the iPhone, a $2 download from the iTunes store, purports to mimic the tilf-shift lens effect of architectural photography via software: you mask the area you want to keep in focus and feather the edges of the selection; TiltShift then adds the lens blur.

Easy. But is that tilt-shift photography? Not by a mile-long stretch of skyscrapers. Yet it’s fun to use, so it’s there.

The application is also available for the iPod Touch. It comes with a small library of photos for you to try out, but you can also use photos from your iPhone or iPod Touch’s camera roll.
