You’re in the middle of a shoot and you need to reach that gear in your backpack. Normally, you have to put down that backpack, open it, get that gear and resume what you were doing after losing a few precious seconds.
Think Tank Photo has a better idea: why not make that lower half of the backpack movable? Yeah, like pulling it out from the side and rotating it to your front?
That’s how they designed their rotation360° bag. With a tug of the handy locking mechanism located on the padded belt, a beltpack – comprising the lower half of the backpack – rotates through a hole in the bottom of the backpack and around to the front.
Easier now to get that gear. Genius.
