Thin & Sexy: The BenQ X720 Compact

BenQ X720

This BenQ camera’s thickness (thinness, is a better term) is only 12.5mm – that’s so much less than a half inch – and that makes it the world’s slimmest digicam in the 7-megapixel division.

It’s stylish too, look at it standing on its head. The award-winning BenQX720 features an elegant stainless-steel body with a shiny metal grip which has won it the prestigious 2006 iF China Design Award and the 2006 G-mark Good Design Award for its smooth, exquisite, elegantly crafted, blade-like design.

BenQ’s Manfred Wang beams, “the design of X720 reflects BenQ’s Meeting of Opposites design philosophy. It brings together work and play, technology and style, tenacity and smoothness.”

We hope it wins photography awards too, with its smc Pentax lens, 1/2.5 inch CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
