Triops Throwaway Camera

Why would you want a throwaway camera? So you could have something to throw at faces you don’t like photographing.

No, seriously, its designer Franziska Faoro says the Triops‘s mission in life is to “allow the user to experience new perspectives and perceptions and take the potential of digital photography to a new level.”

The Triops made it to the finals of the BraunPrize 2007 international design competition and made Ms. Faoro €6,000 richer.

Triops is envisioned to be a triple-lens digital camera which reacts to sound, motion or manual triggers. Its three protected fish eye lenses shoot panoramas and sequels that show more than just one direction.
