The costs begin with $24,500 to reserve 700 sq.ft. of booth space, tens of thousands more for furnishings plus about $300 a day for hotel expenses of 29 Digeo employees attending CES 2007.
Is it worth it? â€œAsk me afterward,â€ said Allison Cornia, vice president for marketing at Digeo. CES 2007 provides small tech companies like Digeo to mix it up with the big boys.
â€œI donâ€™t think you can buy the value you are getting from exposure to that many people,â€ said Sterling Pratz, chief executive of Autonet Mobile, a month-old company trying to bring Internet access into cars.
