T-Mobile Launches Cameo Photo Frame Service

Picture this: a digital photo frame with its own phone number so you can MMS your pictures to it. Cool, you say?

That’s the latest offering from T-Mobile: a Cameo photo frame made by Parrot, equipped with GSM hardware. You pay $100 for the frame, plus $10 a month for subscription. The service starts this month.

You can snap a photo with your camera phone from wherever you are and then send it via MMS to your Cameo photo frame, which receives it just like any GSM phone and displays it instantly.

The Cameo photo frame itself has a 7-inch LCD with 720×480 resolution and a changeable leather border. It has a mini-USB port and slots for SD/MMC cards to accept photos from other storage devices.
