Sony Announces Alpha D-100 DSLR

Sony Alpha DSLR D-100

Sony and Minolta have been talking about building a DSLR together since 2005 and the result is finally here, the Alpha D-100 DSLR. This 10 Megapixel A-Mount camera has a whole bunch of exciting features like built-in anti-shake, an anti-dust sensor and a very viewable 2.5 inch LCD display. It will be interesting to see how this camera, and other recent additions (such as the Pentax K series) turn up the heat on the current market leaders Canon and Nikon.

thansks… also… you forgot to tell that the A100 is a 10mp mini-monster for only $999.00!!! Also… Sony has a Maxxum 7D return… AKA the Sony A400 the secret secret 14mp antishake super demon at 5.5 fps and up to 40 frames jpeg and 26frame RAW and 16 frame Raw/JPEG with the anti dust capability and an enhanced DRang Optimizer with a possible 3 inch LCD!!!! Stay tuned to this one… nikon and canon had better bull up they’re boots and go full frame to compete or figure somethin to really set them apart cause at prices like these… If I owned a nikon… and if the A400 is what i’ve been quietly hinted to by a sony inside guy saying this is what he says some inside guys were talking about… then the S$!#’s is about to hit the fan for the leaders of the game!
