Sandisk Expands SanDisk Extreme III Pro to 4GB

Sandisk has expanded its Sandisk Extreme III professional line to now include a 4GB SDHC Class 6 memory card and a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo card.

The SanDisk Extreme III 4GB SDHC card has a sequential read/write speed of 20MBps, while the SanDisk Extreme III 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo card has a sequential read/write speed of 18MBps. Both cards are designed for shooting in extreme temperatures (-25 to 85 degrees Celsius), high altitudes and other demanding situations, according to Sandisk.

The Sandisk MicroMate SDHC Reader, a $20 value, is being bundled with the 4GB SanDisk Extreme III SDHC card at no extra cost for approximately $140, available in April.
