Samyang Unveils 3 New Lenses for Samsung NX DSLR Camera

Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens

South Korea’s Samyang Optics Co., Ltd. has introduced three new manual focus lenses for the Samsung NX mount. Available in September, the new lenses – the Samyang 8mm f/3.5 fish-eye, 14mm f/2.8 ultra-wide lens and the 85mm f/1.4 telephoto lens – will also be available later for Canon, Nikon, FourThirds, Pentax and Sony versions.

The Samyang 8mm f/3.5 fisheye, pictured above, consists of 10 glass elements in 7 optical groups. Its aperture is made up of six diaphragms and can be closed down to f/22. The lens offers a 180-degree field of view for APS-C cameras.

Samyang will showcase the new lenses during Photokina 2010 in Cologne, Germany from September 21-26.
