Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens

South Korea’s Samyang Optics Co., Ltd. has introduced three new manual focus lenses for the Samsung NX mount. Available in September, the new lenses – the Samyang 8mm f/3.5 fish-eye, 14mm f/2.8 ultra-wide lens and the 85mm f/1.4 telephoto lens – will also be available later for Canon, Nikon, FourThirds, Pentax and Sony versions.

The Samyang 8mm f/3.5 fisheye, pictured above, consists of 10 glass elements in 7 optical groups. Its aperture is made up of six diaphragms and can be closed down to f/22. The lens offers a 180-degree field of view for APS-C cameras.

Samyang will showcase the new lenses during Photokina 2010 in Cologne, Germany from September 21-26.
