Samsung Rolls Out New Line of Affordable Photo Frames

Samsung Electronics America Inc. today announced four new digital photo frames – the SPF-85H, SPF-85V, SPF-105P and the SPF-105V – adding to their existing line of award-winning display products.

The SPF-85H and the WiFi-enabled SPF-85V have an 8-inch screen and are offered with an estimated street price of $130 and $200, respectively. For those wanting a larger screen, two 10-inch digital photo frames will be available: the SPF-105P will be offered for an estimated street price of $200 on October 1st and the WiFi-enabled SPF-105V for an estimated street price of $290 on November 1st.

Samsung says the new digital photo frames are wrapped in a glossy black bezel with rounded edges for an elegant look. Each model features Samsung’s own Starlight Touch Controls which integrate the On Screen Display (OSD) buttons into the bezel. Starlight Touch features capacitive touch buttons, which disappear from the bezel after 10 seconds of inactivity. These digital photo frames can also be used as a secondary monitor for your laptop or desktop, using Samsung’s exclusive UbiSync technology.
