Samsung asked 1,766 adults in the UK to look into the use and purchase of Christmas gadgets and the survey said: girls are buying more gadgets than boys do now (but they still prefer boys to gadgets of course!).

The research said 37 percent of women are buying gadgets this Christmas compared to 35 percent of men who said yes they’re buying thingamajigs for the holidays.

Almost all women surveyed (95%) said they believe gadgets are no longer just toys for boys. And games? 38% of females own game consoles compared to 31% of males! What’s happening?

Hannah Perry, News Editor of Heat magazine commented on the research, “Gadgets are no longer the preserve of the tech-hungry male – we see women embracing technology all of the time without fear of them compromising on style or beauty.” And then the Samsung plug: “Cameras look so stylish now and the latest range from Samsung which are available in various colors make them ideal fashion accessories for today’s fashion conscious women.” Oh.
