RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2008

UK’s RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is calling for entries to its Young Photographer Awards 2008 (YPA08) photo competition.

This year’s photo submissions have been made easier with the newly launched YPA website. Photographs and details can be uploaded within seconds of logging on to http://www.rspca.org.uk/ypa.

The photo competition is open to young photographers aged 19 and below. The competition is divided into four categories: under 12 years, 12 to 18 years, pet personalities and the Olympus portfolio.

The competition is offering winners a number of prizes including the opportunity to join the RSPCA on an exclusive photoshoot and top Olympus E-420 DSLR and Mju 1030SW cameras.

The deadline for entries is Monday, September 1, 2008.
