Rollei Rolls Out 10MP Compact

There’s a new compact digital camera, and its name is Rollei da1325 Prego.

It shoots at 10 megapixels, sports a 2.5-inch color LCD screen, a combination of 3x optical and 4x digital zoom, and numerous settings for creative digital photography.

The Rollei da1325 Prego has a focal length of 6.2 to 18.6 mm (equivalent of 37-112 mm in a 35 mm camera). It is able to focus from a distance of 80 cm to infinity and features a macro setting for wide lens shooting from 15 – 100 cm and tele lens shooting from 40 – 100 cm.

The Video clip function can shoot movies with sound in a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 30fps. It retails for €249 (~ $320) when it hits stores in October.

Rollei is a Berlin-based German company which has been making cameras since the 1920’s.
