Review: Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited 2009 by PhotographyBLOG

For you and me, Canon’s PhotoStitch and the image stitching functions inside Photoshop would suffice to create our panorama photos.

But if your livelihood depends on panorama creation, or you want to have serious fun stitching several images together, then there’s Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited 2009. It’s $350 a pop, but it’s serious software.

If you need to go beyond simple stitching of images to include fish-eye lens support, spherical panoramas, HDR processing, QuickTime MOV files, and the best image blending, ASU2009 is it.

How’d I know this? Jon Canfield of PhotographyBLOG reviewed it for us, so we don’t have to sweat it out trying to look for software beyond the bundled PhotoStitch or Photoshop.
