Ray Flash Right Light Adapter Lowers Price by $100

It used to be $300, now the Ray Flash ring light adapter sells for $200 after a direct purchasing agreement allowed a $100 price drop for the Czech Republic-made product. It’s available from ExpoImaging Inc, the same guys who bring you the ExpoDisc white balance filter and the ExpoAperture2 DOF guide.

The Ray Flash, which was launched in the U.S. in the spring of 2008, is a portable and lightweight adapter for shoe-mount flash units that replicates the unique lighting effect produced by heavy, tethered, powered studio ring flash units.

There’s no electronics in it; the Ray Flash takes the light off your Canon 580EX or Nikon SB800 flash unit and redirects it to create an even circle of light around your camera lens.
