PQI 2.5� SATAII SSD X25M Solid State Drive

Taiwan-based PQI (Power Quotient International Co., Ltd.) has announced their new 2.5” SATAII SSD X25M solid state drive, boasting a maximum read speed of 250MB/sec and a maximum write speed of 70MB/sec.

The new SSD’s idle power consumption is rated at 0.06W and operating power consumption is rated at 0.15W. This means 30% more usage time on laptops. PQI’s 2.5” SATA II SSD X25M uses Intel SSD utilizing MLC flash modules and is rated with a 0.85ms access time latency.

The PQI X25M is available in 80GB or 160GB capacities.
