PopPhoto.com Unlocks the Power of Photoshop Elements 6

You think Photoshop Elements is for ninnies? Well, think again. Debbie Grossman of PopPhoto.com unlocks the power of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 by showing us how to enhance a photo without using Photoshop CS3 or Lightroom.

Hidden inside Elements’ menus are powerful tools to adjust brightness and contrast, make colors pop, and sharpen your photographs.

New to Elements 6 is its own version of Curves, located in a rather improbable place — buried way down in the Enhance menu, under another submenu, says Debbie.

She uses this to make the cows pop up in the photograph. The sliders that you tweak here are very similar to the sliders in Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom. Well…come to think of it, these are the same sliders!
