PocketWizard has gone beyond TTL: their just-released MiniTT1 Transmitter and FlexTT5 Transceiver offers Slide-n-Shoot simplicity with the new ControlTL system which taps into the camera’s digital communications to enable more remote flash capabilities.
Changes in ISO, aperture and shutter speed are seamlessly passed along for reliable, flawless flash. You can even use your flash compensation controls to make changes in flash output. Need ratios? You can do that too.
The new system features more reliable radio signal with full TTL operation. It also enables high speed sync up to 1/8000 at 8fps max. There are 32 channels available and the system works with all earlier PW models.
The MiniTT1 Transmitter and FlexTT5 Transceiver will be available for Canon DSLRs beginning March 1, 2009. For Nikon, Q2 2009. $200 for the MiniTT1 and $220 for the FlexTT5.
