Digital photo frames have gotten bigger and more expensive. PhotoVu is offering a 19-inch number, a full-featured wireless digital picture frame that provides an impressive 16:10 wide format viewing experience.

The PV1965w digital photo frame will set you back at least $1199, and it’s build-to-order so it takes about ten days to ship.

The new PhotoVu frame features 1440 x 900, 16m/24bit color, high resolution LCD TFT display and is equipped with a SmartResize software to automatically resize images to 1440 x 900 pixels for display.

It supports most USB flash drives so you don’t need a computer to run it. It supports the 802.11b (11Mbps) and WEP 64/128bit wireless protocols and is upgradeable to 802.11g and WPA.

One cool feature of the PV1965w is its ability to integrate with photo-sharing portals like Apple iPhoto Photocasts, flickr, Google Picasa Web Albums and SmugMug so you never run out of photos.
